Clarity, operated by Clarity Faith, is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
What we collect
- Account information — your email address when you create an account.
- Study data — notes, highlights, bookmarks, and reading history you create in the app.
- Chat history — your conversations with the AI assistant, stored so you can continue them later.
- Usage data — how you interact with features, used to improve the product and enforce fair use limits.
- Payment information — handled entirely by Apple, Google, or our payment processor. We never see your payment card details.
How we use it
- To provide and improve Clarity.
- To sync your study data across your devices.
- To enforce subscription limits fairly.
- To respond to support requests.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not use your chat history for AI training.
- We do not show you ads.
Data storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure. AI responses are processed through Google's Gemini API. Chat messages are sent to the AI model to generate your answer; they are not stored by Google for training purposes under our API agreement.
Your rights
You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@clarityfaith.com. We will delete your data within 30 days.
